The Trail
Embarking on the trail before dawn, I was greeted by a scene straight out of a suspense movie—a solitary hike amidst the misty, chilly morning air. While the pathways and stairways were visible, caution was necessary due to slippery conditions in certain areas, particularly when wet. Bamboo groves line the initial stretch of the trail, leading to an extended portion featuring wooden stairs
Throughout the trail, two viewing deck pavilions offer picturesque vantage points, while maps guide hikers along the well-marked pathways. The landscape resembles a forest of Christmas trees, though the absence of snow didn’t detract from its beauty. The cool mountain climate provides an ideal environment for tea cultivation, with tea plantations dotting the area, shrouded in lingering mist.
When hiking in the mountains, weather conditions can be unpredictable. It’s essential to come prepared with a raincoat or jacket, especially in foggy or rainy conditions.
